Gender and Identity Disinformation (GID) is a growing and sophisticated form of information manipulation that targets women, gender-diverse individuals, and LGBT+ communities to undermine democratic values and human rights, and to further polarise societies. Through case studies from Armenia, Poland, and Georgia, we explore how GID, a multi-vector security threat, can cause harm from individual harassment to systemic democratic destabilisation. Artemis Alliance presents how malign actors exploit social tensions around gender and identity to create vulnerabilities in national security frameworks.
