Security and Review:

For security reasons, all requests to attend the conference will be reviewed. Priority access will be given to people working in the disinformation field and providing enough information about their position and organisation. 

If your request is accepted, you will receive an email inviting you to pay your participation fee.

Participation fee:

A participation fee will be required to attend #Disinfo2024. By paying this participation fee, you will be able to access the plenary sessions and three tracks as well as social events during the two-day conference, and enjoy the catering and networking with our community during the four coffee breaks and two lunches.

The participation fee is based on the sector you come from:
Participation fee for NGOs and civil society, academic researchers, fact-checkers, and independent journalists:

  • 100€+VAT early bird until 31 May 
  • 120€+VAT regular fee

Participation fee for Government officials, private companies, for-profit organisations, and corporations:

  • 150€+VAT early bird until 31 May
  • 180€+VAT regular fee

The Early Bird rate will be applied based on the date when you first submitted your request.

Examples: 

  • You send your request on 20 April and are confirmed on 29 May: the early Bird rate applies
  • You send your request on 20 May but are confirmed on 3 June: the early Bird rate applies.
  • You send your request on 1 June, the regular fee applies.

EU DisinfoLab is not responsible for any bank transaction costs. 

EU DisinfoLab cannot be held accountable for any costs incurred before your registration is final and confirmed.

EU DisinfoLab does not cover any accommodation or travel costs for your participation in this conference.

Tickets:

Upon acceptance, you will receive an email to proceed with a payment form. Please note that your registration is temporarily held for seven days following our initial contact. Your participation in the conference is only guaranteed once the fee is paid and you’ve received a final confirmation email.

VAT Disclaimer:

EU DisinfoLab sells conference tickets through a third-party service. The VAT listed on the invoice applies to transactions made with the third-party service, not directly with EU DisinfoLab.

Cancellation policy:

You can cancel your registration until 20 September 2024. Please keep in mind that in case of cancellation, your participation fee is refunded minus a 15% processing charge. VAT is fully reimbursed. Please note that your refund might take up to four weeks.

If you cancel after 20 September 2024, neither the fee nor VAT will be refunded.

The registration confirmation and the participant’s ticket are individual and cannot be transferred. If you are unable to attend the conference, please cancel your participation, and we will then notify participants on the waiting list.

To cancel your ticket, please click the button “Cancel” on the payment confirmation email. Please note that your ticket is only refundable until 20 September 2024.

Data Sharing & Your Rights:

By filling in this form, your data will be shared with EU DisinfoLab and the registration platform supplier (MITTO) for the purpose of organising and updating you on the EU DisinfoLab Annual Conference 2024.

In addition, regarding this event, EU DisinfoLab is committed to facilitating meaningful networking opportunities for all attendees by giving access to the List of Participants in advance via a networking tool, and foster networking. In this regard, we would like to inform you about the sharing of your data with fellow participants via a networking too.

Your Right to Opt-Out. While we believe that sharing this information can enhance your event experience, we respect your privacy preferences. If, for any reason, you wish to opt-out from having your basic data shared with other participants via the networking tool, please send an email to conference@disinfo.eu. We will promptly review and accommodate your request, taking into consideration your legitimate concerns.
