It is with sadness that we have to announce the postponement of our conference held between 5-6 May. The new dates of Disinfo2020 will be 29-30 September.

We have been closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation during the last few weeks, and we came to the conclusion that there was no other decision we could have made. As you may know, many stakeholders in Brussels are postponing or cancelling their events, including the EU institutions.

There is still so much uncertainty surrounding how everything will develop and we would rather take responsibility for the unforeseen circumstances in order to guarantee your personal safety and comfort.

We do have good news, though. We have rescheduled the conference for 29-30 September in Brussels, Belgium. We will contact speakers individually in the next days and weeks to rearrange the plans. We also would like to thank the Renaissance Hotel in Brussels for their understanding and full support on this matter.

As you know, the disinformation surrounding the epidemic is rampant, which reinforces our belief in our mission and the need for collective action.

We were so looking forward to seeing both new and familiar faces, and we do realise the inconvenience this causes, but we really look forward to seeing you in September.

All the best,
Lauren, the rest of the EU DisinfoLab team, and the Board
